Students from the Eco and Science clubs visited the PG & Research Department of Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Bioinformatics of National college . They were given insights on Biotechnology and its prospects. The students were engaged in Observing Hydra/ Zebrafish embryos, Handling earthworms, Understanding Photosynthesis, Understanding Plant Tissue culture and hydroponics, and observing blood cells under microscope .They had discussions on Fermentation processes and Extracting DNA from plant samples. It was an very enriching experience for each one of them

Deepavali celeberations at RKPS …In North India, Deepavali draws from the Ramayana, with people lighting diyas to welcome Lord Rama,his wife Sita, and brother Lakshmana on a triumphant journey home after 14 years …In South India, it honours the victory of Lord Krishna’s destruction of the demon Naraka who is said to have imprisoned women and tormented his subjects. RKPians enacted both the events in a skit to explain to all the significance of Deepavali … Songs and Dances were a part of the festivities at the school and the celebrations ended with bursting of firecrackers … Wishing one and all a very happy Deepavali 🙏

The splendour of the march past and the band …The march past was a beautiful spectacle…Its purpose is to showcase discipline, unity, and coordination and it sets the tone for discipline and decorum at an event. It was a spectacular performance by the students of our school at the annual sports day…the ribbon drill , the Pom Pom drill , the hula hoop drill , the flower drill , the umbrella drill and the butterfly drill and the aerobic dance enthralled all .. the tableau performance , the pyramid formation stunned the audience …yoga, silambam and karate performances impressed ..here is a glimpse of our annual sports Day

Onam Pookalam at RKPS

The Onam Pookalam is a vibrant rangoli made with fresh flowers….Traditionally, families wake before sunrise to create their Pookalam to adorn the doorway. The ornamentation is said to invite in the benevolent and beloved King Mahabali,and spread prosperity and abundance in the season of harvest….

At RKPS we celebrated Onam with a flower rangoli competition …. The teaching staff of RKPS adorned the entrance of the school with a beautiful flower rangoli setting the tone for the competition …Grades 6 to 11 displayed their expertise in flower rangoli …flower rangoli is not the prerogative of girls alone and the boys of RKPS proved it with their exquisite flower rangolis… the students of RKPS displayed their immense creativity and surpassed many expectations … here is a glimpse of the beautiful flower rangoli by the students of RKPS …Wishing all a very Happy ONAM 🙏🙏

Krishna Jayanthi celebratation at RKPS

Pre primary children at RKPS came together to celebrate Krishna Jayanthi with their friends and teachers…We were thrilled to see the enthusiasm and participation of our little ones as they came dressed as little Krishnas and Radhas and we truly appreciate the efforts taken by the parents.Celebrating any festival is incomplete till we know the beautiful reasons behind it and the children were told about the birth of lord Krishna. They were the cutest Krishnas and Radha’s you will see this Janmashtami❤️ RKPS wishes all a very Happy Janmashtami 🙏

FANCY DRESS COMPETITION FOR KINDERGARTEN

Fancy dress competition was held for kindergarten to celebrate independence day. All the children participated enthusiastically and came dressed as freedom fighters which was the theme. It was proud moment to see the little one's performing confidently.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2024-2025.

The Investiture Ceremony of Rajam Krishnamurthy Public School was held at National College Auditorium, Karumandapam, Trichy on 10th August 2024. In this Ceremony, 56 students were formally elected to leadership roles for the academic year 2024 - 2025. The Secretary, Mr. K.Raghunathan, the Principal, Mr C.Hari, along with the Chief Guest, Colonel Neeraj Uniyal, Indian Army, Tiruchirappalli presented badges and sashes to the School Pupil Leader and other council members. The newly elected leaders took an oath to serve with integrity and commitment. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem, marking the beginning of a year led by dedicated student leadership.

PUPPET SHOW FOR KG CLASSES

Puppet show is being conducted every week in the school for kg classes. Children enjoyed the show and this helps them develop their creative thinking,learn moral values and acquire knowledge

YELLOW COLOUR DAY CELEBRATION - 19-07-2024

The motive of celebrating this yellow colour day was to make the children aware of yellow colour, its significance and to develop fine motor skills in the students. They spent the day with utmost enjoyment.
